Hey there! Let me take you through Ahiru’s timeline of how her little creative universe came into existence!
For those unwilling to dive into full ACU experience, here’s the long story short:
At Ahiru’s Creative Universe you can find a wide range of Personalized handmade or Digital products. Ashwini Abhang, an Artist and the founder of ACU believes in preserving every memory in the form of Art and Cherishing it forever. Undeniably cute and capturing the essence of pure innocence, our products are handmade with love and crafted with sustainable materials.
How it all began

‘It all began when a science student started scribbling doodles in her notebooks.’
I, Ashwini (Founder of ACU), am a graduate in M.Sc. Genetics. I completed my graduation from NVPAS Vidya nagar & my post graduation from DY Patil school of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics Navi Mumbai, in Genetics and Genetic Engineering respectively.
By the time I completed my Graduation, my passion for writing poetries evolved into creating doodles and comics. This was the year 2017, the beginning of a creative journey and creation of ‘Ahiru’, the soul of ACU.

I’ve always loved making bouquets and handcrafted gifts, although it wasn’t until I created Ahiru that I thought of changing career lines and starting a small business of my own. I am an introvert by nature, but Ahiru got me closer to people. I remember how few of my classmates wanted me to draw Ahiru on their lab-coats. With time, more people started relating to Ahiru and I printed like a hundred pin-badges for selling during my post grad. I got my first customized badge order from a friend around that time and so began the personalized gifting range!
Our Creative Drive: “Art & Memories Cherished & Preserved!”
I strongly believe that every little moment, as precious as it can be in its simplicity, can be and in a way should be ‘preserved’ in some or the other form.
During my Childhood years, I used to crush plant leaves and flower petals for making paint colors. Memories and Emotions have always fueled my Creative engine, and it’s truly a blessing that I got to express it via Poetries and Art both. I hope someday I’ll be able to provide a platform to a few artists out there who want to create something of their own.
